TV Tuner Card

A TV tuner card is a computer component(hardware) that allows television signals to be received by a computer. Most TV tuners also function as video capture cards, allowing them to record television programs onto a hard disk. In other words, you can install the TV tuner card into(inside) your computer motherboard. This will open an external port to connect an antenna or cable into your computer.Review: It works pretty well and some come with remote control. The cool thing is that currently there are four kinds of tuner cards in the market: analog, digital, hybrid, and combo TV tuners. If you want to know more about it, Google it. I’m sorry, don’t expect me to get all technical here. I’m a consumer, not Wikipedia.Cons: You need to open the computer to install it. If you are not that computer savvy, then you need a computer expert to install it for you, which means more money out of your pocket.
