Buffalo's new hard drive comes small and encrypted

Dusseldorf - Users have to enter the correct password to access new hard drives offered by Buffalo. The HDS-PH160U2 and the HDS-PH320U2 come with a hardware-based encryption that automatically engages. The new drives from the MiniStation-Pro line come with either 160 or 320 GB capacity at a price of either 105 or 199 euros (164.81 dollars or 312.35 dollars). According to the manufacturer, the drives are particularly resistant to jolts.
